Cleveland Area Home Health is a non-profit, Medicare/Medicaid-certified agency staffed by experienced professionals providing healthcare services in the home setting. We are a local organization with a commitment to the people of our community, whom we have been serving for over 25 years. How do you qualify? To qualify for home care coverage, a physician must order the care for you based on your need for skilled healthcare services. To leave the home must be a taxing effort, done infrequently and for short periods of time. Who pays for Home Health Care? We accept Medicare/Medicaid and most private insurance plans. Medicare/Medicaid pays for specific services necessary for diagnosis and treatment of an illness or injury for persons age 65 and over, or for individuals who have been deemed disabled. Private insurance plans recognize home health care as a beneficial alternative to prolonged hospitalization or nursing home care. An out-of-pocket expense may be incurred however. You will need to check with your plan administrator to determine available coverage. |
